Booker Woodfox is a Lewisville High School Graduate. The second all-time leading scorer for his high school, 2003 DFW newcomer of the year and McDonald's All American nominee. He later went to San Jacinto Jr College where he gained national attention by receiving 2nd team All American Honors. Creighton University stepped in the picture to offer him a scholarship where he excelled. Being named 6th man of the year in the country and setting a D1 NCAA record for most consecutive double figure scoring off the bench with 15 in a row. Booker then followed it up with the Missouri Valley conference player of the year (POY) and Larry Bird trophy winner and earning all American honors. Due to his shooting ability he was drafted by the Dallas mavericks G-league team, Texas Legends. Booker shocked the community by winning back to back NBA G-league 3pt contest during the NBA ALL-STAR Weekend in 2011 and 2012. He is the current leader in 3 pointers made, 3 pointers attempted and as well as the Legends all-time leading scorer. The sharp shooter has played under many current and retired NBA Players and Coaches. In Booker’s first year he played under Nancy Lieberman, the first woman to play in an NBA game and in the Canton Basketball Hall of Fame. He also played for Coach Del Harris, known for drafting Kobe Bryant to the LA Lakers and being named the 1995 coach of the year. He was coached by other basketball legends such as 1986 dunk champ Spud Webb, NBA All-Star Nic van Exel, and first Mexican drafted to the NBA Eddie Najera. Grapevine basketball games
