Booker Woodfox

Booker Woodfox is a Lewisville High School Graduate.  The second all-time leading scorer for his high school, 2003 DFW newcomer of the year and McDonald's All American nominee.  He later went to San Jacinto Jr College where he gained national attention by receiving 2nd team All American Honors.  Creighton University stepped in the picture to offer him a scholarship where he excelled. Being named 6th  man of the year in the country and setting a D1 NCAA record for most consecutive double figure scoring off the bench with 15 in a row. Booker then  followed it up with the Missouri Valley conference player of the year (POY) and Larry Bird trophy winner and earning all American honors. Due to his shooting ability he was drafted by the Dallas mavericks G-league team, Texas  Legends. Booker shocked the community by winning back to back NBA G-league 3pt contest during the NBA ALL-STAR Weekend in 2011 and 2012. He is the current leader in 3 pointers made, 3 pointers attempted and as well as the Legends all-time leading scorer. The sharp shooter has played under many current and retired NBA Players and Coaches.  In Booker’s first year he played under Nancy Lieberman, the first woman to play in an NBA game and in the Canton Basketball Hall of Fame. He also played for Coach Del Harris, known for drafting Kobe Bryant to the LA Lakers and being named the 1995 coach of the year. He was coached by other basketball legends such as 1986 dunk champ Spud Webb, NBA All-Star Nic van Exel, and first Mexican drafted to the NBA Eddie Najera. Grapevine basketball games

Albert Johnson

Former Texas A&M Basketball assistant coach,  Albert Jonhson has run a personal player recruiting consulting service for the past 15 years.  Without a doubt the most important person to this academy.  Coach Albert Johnson has sent thousands of student athlete's to college, he is what high school basketball players today are in need of.  From coaching in the NCAA to providing ways to help athlete's make their mark in the NCAA. A perfect example is one of his student athletes who attended Mansfield Legacy, and who was cut from his high school team as a senior, Coach Albert was still able to help him receive a full ride college scholarship. Albert knows the ins and outs to every recruitment question known to man. He provides parents with ACT and SAT courses to help them better understand what a student athlete's requirements are in order to play at the college level.  All basketball players  have different skills sets and all college coaches want a specific piece that fits their program, Coach Albert is an expert on making the best connection for each individual student athlete.  Whether that be NBA or NAIA.  Coach Albert Johnson works with or has contact to every school in the country!  Someone would ask how? Having been involved in the HS, AAU, College and Pro basketball family for more then 20 years, he has become a trusted name to College coaches and is the first person they contact when looking for a prospect in the DFW area.   

Jackie Fisher

 Jackie Fisher is one of the best athletic trainers in the game! When it comes to preparing your body to perform at a very high level, take care of places that hurt and get those nagging injuries or maybe something that just isn’t feeling right corrected, she is the one you want to call!   Jackie has the ability to get things back to normal.   Having been an athletic trainer in the NBA G-League for 6 seasons and 1 season with the WNBA team, the Tulsa Shock led her to take care of and prepare one of the most famous WNBA stars in today’s game, Skylar Diggings.   

Ryan Bowie

Ryan Bowie graduated from Lewisville High School in 2012, he was a four year starter for the Fighting Farmers.  Ryan was a Top 150 Rivals player in the country, and a Top 20 ranked player in the state for his class.  He played two seasons at Iowa Western community college before transferring to UTSA.  For his collegiate career he averaged 16 ppg and shot 43% from beyond the arch.  He was later drafted to the NBA - G leagues Skyforce, affiliate of the Miami Heat.  Ryan also played 3 seasons professionally in Canada and Mexico.
